About the Role:
As the Vice President of Global Regulatory Services, you will lead a global team that provides excellent Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring and compliance services to clients in various industries. This includes On-Demand Authoring, EH&S Regulatory Documentation (ERD), Authoring Optimization Services (AOS), Business Operations, Expert Services Processing Centre (ESPC), and Authoring Enablement.
You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and ensure that we deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant SDS and related product compliance services to customers worldwide.
This role gives you the chance to manage an annual operating budget and create a top-notch delivery model that combines regulatory accuracy with operational innovation.
You will be a key player in driving change, using automation and AI, and working with different teams to keep improving our solutions.

Location: We are looking for candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) to align with key collaborators and business operations.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the global strategy for SDS Authoring services in alignment with 3E’s corporate goals and evolving client needs.
- Deliver ACV and transactional revenue targets across ERD, On-Demand Authoring, and Authoring Optimization Services (AOS), while supporting scalable pricing strategies in partnership with Commercial leadership.
- Partner with Commercial leadership to shape pricing strategies and value delivery frameworks that support scalable client solutions.
- Oversee global service delivery to ensure consistent quality, compliance with international regulatory standards, and adherence to customer SLAs.
- Lead structured process improvements, cost controls, and AI-enabled automation to drive operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Optimize team structures and clarify roles to eliminate redundancy and enhance performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing, geographically distributed team of regulatory and technical experts, with a strong focus on coaching, accountability, and inclusive people development.
- Ensure the implementation of leadership training and technical enablement programs, including onboarding, SOP development, and ISO 9001-compliant quality systems.
- Serve as executive sponsor for key strategic client relationships, ensuring high-touch engagement, regulatory expertise, and sustained customer value.
- Manage capacity planning, workforce forecasting, and annual budget development. Establish governance structures that support operational agility, scalable service models, and real-time performance management.
- Collaborate with product management to develop go-to-market strategies and increase adoption of advanced SDS services and tools.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, chemistry, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in SDS authoring, regulatory compliance, or global service delivery leadership.
- At least five (5) years of proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and developing geographically distributed teams.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, global service operations with full budget ownership and margin accountability.
- Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks such as GHS, REACH, WHMIS, and CLP, and SDS authoring platforms.
- Strong operational and financial acumen, with a track record of driving automation, AI/ML adoption, and scalable process improvements.
- Proven ability to lead matrixed, cross-functional teams while meeting quality, compliance, and SLA outcomes.
- Experience implementing ISO 9001-compliant quality systems, SOPs, and scalable training programs.
- Strategic, customer-first mindset with success delivering high-impact, compliant services and acting as an executive sponsor for major clients.
- Experience driving capacity planning, resource forecasting, and aligning budgets with business growth strategies.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Located and operating within the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.
Preferred:
- Master’s preferred in business, regulatory affairs, or environmental health & safety
- Experience scaling operations through offshore or global delivery models.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in regulatory compliance or service operations.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 per year plus incentives.
In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
The final offer will depend on several factors, including the successful candidate’s skills, depth of work experience, location, and relevant licenses/ qualifications. Each offer is determined based on individual strengths and relevant business considerations.
