About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to take on a leadership role within our Imaging Services team. In partnership with the IR Charge Nurse and the Director of Imaging Services, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient, high-quality, and safe care for our patients while providing functional guidance to Technologists and students.

What You’ll Do

Oversee daily workflow in the IR suite, ensuring optimal staffing, patient safety, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with Radiologists and the IR Charge Nurse to protocol procedures and optimize patient throughput.

Perform a variety of routine and complex interventional procedures while mentoring staff and students.

Maintain QA programs, technical performance standards, and documentation for accreditation compliance.

Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate service, and recommend equipment upgrades.

Monitor inventory and manage supplies within budget expectations.

Lead performance evaluations and participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new team members.

Ensure accurate patient data entry, image processing, and PACS image management.

Act as a clinical resource for interventional protocols, equipment, and best practices.

Attend management and department meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

ARRT (R) certification and Indiana State Department of Health licensure required

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a Cath Lab

Demonstrated leadership abilities preferred

Current BCLS (CPR) certification

Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Must be available to report on-site within 30 minutes for on-call coverage
