About the role
The Lab Cleaner is responsible for managing supply inventory and cleaning pharmacy lab equipment and rooms to ensure a sterile environment. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Quality Assurance Pharmacist.
What you"ll do
- Wash all labware and dishes as instructed by the lab supervisor
- Correctly place and store clean equipment, supplies and dishes in the assigned areas to be ready for use
- Move dishes and supplies to the assigned areas
- End of day clean-up including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning counters and sinks as well as taking out trash and shredder
- Ensure work area remains safe, clean, and orderly and adhere to the required guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation
- Maintain inventory of non-drug items and breakdown of the received items/boxes
- Participate in monthly deep cleaning of the lab with other staff members
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred prior experience working in a pharmacy, laboratory, or in a dishwashing position
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician desired but NOT required
- Pass drug screen test, background check, pre-employment verification process
- Read, understand and be compliant with HIPAA
- Working Conditions: standing, walking, sitting, reaching above shoulders, reaching waist level, reaching below knee, climbing, lifting above shoulder up to 20 lbs., and lifting waist level up to 20 lbs.

Valor's pay band range for this position is $18 to $22 per hour. This salary range may include multiple levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of Valor's total compensation package for employees.
