About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to perform a wide range of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages — from neonates to geriatrics. This is your chance to play a key role in helping diagnose and manage heart conditions alongside a collaborative, expert care team.
ï¸ What You’ll Do

Perform cardiac ultrasound imaging, including:

2D, 3D, M-Mode, and Color Doppler echocardiograms

Trans-thoracic (rest/stress/pharmaceutical) and Trans-esophageal echo/Doppler studies

Prepare patients for procedures, explain tests, and ensure comfort and safety.

Record and calculate accurate ultrasound data and preliminary findings for physician review.

Transport equipment to patient bedsides when needed.

Support management by assisting with scheduling, coordinating physician and lab schedules, and responding to emergency situations.

Maintain equipment cleanliness, troubleshoot technical issues, and track inventory and supplies.

Foster positive, professional relationships with cardiologists, team members, and patients.

Participate in staff education programs, on-call rotations, and department initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Certification
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Specialized technical training in cardiac ultrasound or college-level courses preferred.
-
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI, in active status required.

Registry-eligible candidates may be considered (must complete credentialing within 2 years).

Basic EKG and cardiac testing knowledge preferred.
Skills & Abilities

Expertise in cardiac ultrasound operation and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, congenital heart disease, and diagnostic cardiology.

Excellent decision-making, patient care, and communication skills.

Ability to evaluate cardiac conditions and respond to emergency situations effectively.

Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity required to perform precise imaging and interpret cardiac sounds.
