Role Overview
As a Business Development / Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for generating new business, especially in the commercial sector, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You'll offer tailored moving solutions, guiding prospects from initial outreach to final service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Client Outreach: Use cold calling, networking, and outbound strategies to connect with potential clients.
- Partnership Building: Cultivate partnerships with real estate agents, relocation firms, property managers, and other B2B stakeholders.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Handle the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, keeping a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
- Client Needs Analysis: Conduct consultations to customize moving plans and pricing.
- Brand Representation: Attend local events and serve as the face of Moving Proz in the Kansas City community.
- Coordination with Operations: Work closely with dispatch and crew teams to deliver seamless service and follow-through.
- Market Research: Stay updated on local business trends and moving needs to identify new opportunities.
- Professional Development: Continuously improve your sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in sales or business development, ideally in moving, logistics, or related industries.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to close B2B deals and retain clients.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, especially with business stakeholders.
- Organization: Able to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and deal stages simultaneously.
- Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Suite, and digital sales tools.
- Mobility: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for on-site consultations.
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
The pay range for this role is:60,000 - 120,000 USD per year(Hybrid (Kansas City, Missouri, US))
