Job Title: Floor Technician
Location: Old Dock and Nakina area
Pay: 15.00
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Strip, wax, buff, and refinish various types of flooring, including VCT, tile, and laminate surfaces
Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and burnishers
Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations for chemical and equipment use
Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all tools and floor care equipment
Perform regular inspections of floors to assess care needs and report maintenance issues
Assist with general custodial duties as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in floor care, including waxing and stripping floors
Knowledge of proper floor cleaning methods and safe chemical handling
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
