Control System Programmer

Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from AV system design drawings and documentation
Program, implement, and test AV control systems (e.g., Crestron) for integration projects
Lead code reviews and ensure programming aligns with project specifications and best practices
Participate in design and code reviews to support project development and system performance
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in the field
Provide technical support to project managers, field technicians, and installation teams
Conduct comprehensive testing of integrated AV systems and perform diagnostics as needed
Deliver client-facing system demonstrations and ensure functionality aligns with user needs
Develop and maintain end-user documentation and programming-related technical materials
Update and manage control system code in deployed systems to ensure continued performance
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Technical Operations leadership throughout the project lifecycle
Support sales activities, including site surveys with account managers when requested
Travel to job sites as required for project implementation or support
Perform other duties as assigned by company management

Requirements:

Proficient with test and calibration equipment and programing languages
Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems
Proficient in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC)
Solid communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems
Advanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization and operations of AV equipment
Ability to work and think independently, ensuring to meet deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
Understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting
Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
2-3 years’ experience as a Programmer
Crestron or AMX Control Programmer Associate or equivalent
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record
