Your future position
Kpler provides the most comprehensive tracking of commodity flows across agriculture, from fertilisers, crops and their by-products, all the way to biofuels. We’re looking for an analyst to join our research team and accelerate the growth of our offerings across agricultural research.
The role will involve fundamental supply and demand research for biofuels and feedstocks towards Kpler’s S&D product. You will be working with a team of experienced analysts and build an understanding of physical commodities markets and trading. Your contributions will establish our balances as a reference in the market, empowering clients to navigate complex dynamics and seize opportunities with confidence. You will be empowered to grow and create your own space in commodities research by delivering insights and servicing clients based on your analyses.
Your mission is to:
- Work with the wider Insight team on biofuels supply/demand and pricing forecast models.
- Collect and organize data from diverse sources promptly to maintain and expand our global supply and demand balances, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
- Identify, research, and communicate key developments in the biofuels markets for Kpler’s Insight client base.
- Through such insights, and using Kpler’s proprietary information, work closely with the global sales and marketing teams to demonstrate the value of Kpler’s solutions to the industry.
- Promote research and materials produced within Kpler across all external stakeholders, building relationships with both the mainstream and specialist media.
- Engage with clients and prospective clients through research presentations on Insight’s latest forecasts.
- Produce company webinars as well as participate in external webinars and conferences.
- Collaborate with the product and technical teams to further develop our portfolio of client offerings.
It will be a match if you are or have:
- Experience in commodity markets with at least 1 year of experience in biofuels.
- A strong understanding of interconnected commodity markets and how macroeconomic factors influence supply, demand, and pricing dynamics.
- Passionate about owning responsibilities and upholding the accuracy and agility of the Kpler Agricultural S&D Balances.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships across commodities and translate them into actionable insights.
- The ability to simplify complex data and concepts for diverse audiences, ranging from clients to engineers.
- A team player mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, international, cross-cultural environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A passion for learning and staying at the forefront of industry trends, technological advancements, and innovative analytical techniques.
- Excellent English communication skills
