DC Blox operates on a hybrid schedule. We work in the office Tuesday - Thursday and remote on Mondays and Fridays.
Description Summary:
The Executive Assistant to the CEO is a highly experienced and strategic partner responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Chief Executive Officer. This individual will serve as the gatekeeper and liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including board members and senior leadership. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, proactive, and possesses outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, enabling them to anticipate needs and ensure seamless business operations at the executive level.
Essential Duties:
- Manage and optimize the CEO's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel with strategic foresight and precision.
- Oversee email and other communications on behalf of the CEO, drafting responses, prioritizing correspondence, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, accommodations, and transportation.
- Prepare materials, agendas, reports, and presentations for board meetings, leadership sessions, and external engagements.
- Serve as a professional representative of the CEO in interactions with internal staff, external partners, and board members.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and high-level matters.
- Provide support with personal logistics and administrative matters as needed to ensure optimal executive functioning.
- Lead or support special projects and initiatives at the executive level, coordinating with internal teams as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an executive assistant, with at least 5 years directly supporting a CEO or C-suite executive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in calendar and mailbox management, executive-level travel coordination, and board-level communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom and Slack.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a technology or data infrastructure company.
- Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly, handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey professionalism and authority across all interactions.
