Position Purpose
The Sr Manager of Internal Communications is responsible for all Internal Communications within the Firm. This includes the development and execution of an internal communications strategy for verbal and written communications, writing communications and partnering with Sr Leadership to finalize, and ensuring dissemination of information in a timely fashion.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
·Serve as a trusted advisor to the Firm's Founder and senior leadership, providing ghostwriting for speeches, firmwide emails, talking points, and high-stakes presentations.
·Develop and execute a long-term internal communications strategy aligned with firmwide goals, values, and priorities.
·Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication efforts; lead regular audits and pulse checks to guide strategic improvements.
·Lead internal crisis communication efforts in coordination with firm leadership and external PR partners assuring rapid, accurate, and empathetic messaging during high-stakes or sensitive events.
·Partner with Change Management teams to support organizational transformation efforts, ensuring clear, consistent communication during periods of change such as restructuring, or system overhauls.
·With help from creative team, produce communication plan for team members, crafted in Firm/Brand voice and focused on Firm priorities, people stories, and key updates
·Future; intranet/resource management for internal branding, templates, etc.
·Drive creative strategies to position the firm as an employer of choice for top legal and business talent (i.e. LinkedIn, indeed, recruitment lead gen/events/networking).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements (Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities)
·Bachelors Degree Required[TL1]
·8-10 years previous internal communications experience
·Bilingual (English-Spanish) required.
·Ability to recognize, quickly adapt, and respond to shifting communication needs.
- Ability to recognize areas of opportunity and provide risk awareness for the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow‐through. Strong ability to juggle competing, time-sensitive priorities and delegate as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (framing, grammar/spelling, editing, and storytelling).
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a variety of office applications.
