Account Executive, SMB/ENT at Handoff
You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by converting high-intent inbound trials into paying customers, while helping us lay the foundation for our expansion into enterprise and multi-location (franchise) sales. You’ll be a product evangelist and trusted advisor to prospects, guiding them through tailored demos and helping them see the value of Handoff in their workflows.
This is a high-velocity, full-cycle role where you’ll own everything from the first touch to close, while also helping shape our ENT/franchise motion through experimentation and collaboration. Your work will directly impact our growth trajectory and help define how we scale.
What you'll do
- Drive new revenue: Consistently close 90+ SMB deals per month through fast, high-quality sales execution.
- Convert trials into customers: Increase trial-to-paid conversion to 10%+ with proactive outreach and compelling product education.
- Deliver great demos: Guide prospects through high-impact, workflow-specific demos that highlight Handoff’s value.
- Lay ENT sales groundwork: Research franchise/multi-location prospects, define ICPs, test outbound messaging, and build early pipeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, CS, and Marketing teams to share feedback and improve onboarding and adoption.
- Document and improve: Contribute to sales playbooks, objection handling frameworks, and outbound experiments.
- Stay organized and accountable: Maintain excellent CRM hygiene with clear notes, next steps, and deal stage updates.
- Adapt and evolve: Embrace feedback, move fast, and help us refine our GTM motion as we move upmarket.
About you
- 2-4 years in a high-velocity AE or closing sales role (startup experience preferred)
- Experience selling into SMBs and/or multi-location businesses with varied stakeholders
- Strong demo and discovery skills; leads with curiosity and active listening
- Problem-solver, finding workarounds and removing blockers — you aren’t blocked easily.
- Fast learner who can quickly absorb product updates and apply feedback
- Deep familiarity with Sales tech stacks — CRM (Hubspot), VoIP, Product Analytics tooling, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and rigor around CRM hygiene and pipeline management
- Excited about being a part of a startup environment and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
