About the role
Visitor Services Associate (VSA) will actively engage with visitors at the museum's Admissions Desk. Serving as the face of the museum, VSA"s are responsible for processing admission sales, upselling membership and vault tours, providing visitors with information about exhibitions and upcoming events, and facilitating in providing an overall welcoming environment at the Petersen Automotive Museum. The position requires availability on weekends, holidays, and the flexibility to work at museum events.
What you"ll do
- Maintain accurate monetary transactions including fees for admission, advance admission, parking, memberships as well as group/school tours, and gift tickets/cards.
- Review daily cash drawer transactions for admissions.
- Conduct museum visitor surveys and collect data/feedback.
- Provide helpful information and friendly service to visiting museum patrons.
- Dress in clean and presentable attire consisting of a uniform shirt, comfortable closed-toe shoes, and business appropriate pants.
- Performs other work-related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Cashier and Customer Service experience preferred
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
The pay range for this role is:20 - 20 USD per hour(Petersen Automotive Museum)
