General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting parents involved in dependency court navigate the court system, help them find resources to assist them with their needs to resolve court challenges for their family, assist in transporting parents to court and appointments, as necessary.
- Supports a caseload through weekly meetings, phone calls, court hearings, and transportation to meetings or appointments.
- Assists family in SMART goal planning.
- Assists family in finding resources in the community.
- Supports family in preparing and debriefing for court hearings.
- Collaborates with agency case workers weekly.
Education/Training: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis on life experience with dependency court. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of life experience with dependency court, family reunification, and community resources.
ADA: State child abuse, criminal history, and FBI clearances; visual and auditory skills; ability to bend, stop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report
