Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Architect with a minimum of 15 years of experience in complex digital transformation initiatives within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a broad and relatively deep understanding of various aspects of architecture, including enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data, infrastructure, integration, security, cloud, and UX. The Lead Architect will manage a team of 20 architects and will be accountable for driving end-to-end architecture and design platform for a logistics operator, as well as establishing effective architecture practice, governance, and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage a team of 20 architects covering all aspects of architecture, including enterprise, solution, data, infrastructure, integration, security, cloud, and UX.
·Drive architecture and design platform for a logistics operator, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
·Establish and enforce architecture governance, controls, principles, standards, and policies to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
·Build and foster an effective and cohesive architecture team with the right team dynamics, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
·Provide leadership and direction in the development and execution of enterprise architecture practice, leveraging TOGAF principles and framework.
·Act as a leader and effective people manager, enabling architects to achieve their full potential and deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
·Engage effectively with stakeholders internally and externally, with both business and technical backgrounds, to gather requirements, communicate architectural concepts, and drive alignment.
·Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
·Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, structure of thought, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
·Minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture, design, and implementation of complex digital transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.
·Broad and relatively deep understanding of technology, with solid command of modern cloud technology stack (ideally experience in Microsoft Azure, and secondarily in AWS and GCP).
·Experience in logistics is considered an advantage.
·Understanding of enterprise architecture practice, ideally TOGAF certified.
·Proven track record of effective leadership, team management, and people development.
·Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
·Excellent presentation skills, organizational skills, and structure of thought.
·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
