Pay Range: $33.58 - $50.36 / hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.
- Prepares for and assists the physician in interventional procedures
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum:
- Completion of accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography.
Preferred:
- Experience as a sonographer
**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Minimum IF Sonography program is accredited through the ARRT:
- ARRT certification prior to hire date
- CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
- Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire.
Minimum IF Sonography program is accredited through CAAHEP
- CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
- Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire.
Must pass Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) exam within 12 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Registered by ARDMS in abdomen, OB/Gyn and Vascular
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Minimum: Previous healthcare experience
Preferred: Two years of clinical experience
