Position Overview:
Revive RX is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Pharmacy Operations to lead and optimize the performance of our high-volume pharmacy in Houston, TX. This pivotal leadership role will oversee end-to-end pharmacy operations, ensuring seamless workflows, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Senior Manager will lead a team of 60–70 professionals—including pharmacists, technicians, and support staff—driving performance, innovation, and operational excellence in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational leadership across pharmacy functions, including medication fulfillment, workflow efficiency, and quality assurance.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive operational excellence through the identification and implementation of lean processes and strategic improvements.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance, identify trends, and execute corrective action plans.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including licensing and safety standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across clinical, logistics, quality, and HR departments to enhance cross-functional efficiency.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, cost containment, and accurate tracking and reconciliation.
Manage workforce planning, including labor allocation, scheduling, and staffing to meet dynamic business needs.
Support the Director of Pharmacy Operations with strategic planning, budgeting, and operational initiatives.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Texas (required).
5–7 years of progressive experience in pharmacy or healthcare operations, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven ability to manage large, high-performing teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar (preferred).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven management style.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead at all levels.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to support a 7-day operation.
