Position Summary
In this role the Pathology Assistant will work directly with the Pathologists and will be performing various surgical tasks to assist in the evaluation of tissue samples in a variety of settings. This will include assistance with frozen sections, fine needle aspirations and bone marrows as well grossing of specimens.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education: Must be a Pathology Assistant certified by the American Board of Pathology or board eligible.
Preferred Education: Must have thorough knowledge of laboratory services.
Minimum Experience: Three years experience in clinical pathology is preferred.
