Shift timings: 19:00-07:30 Hours. Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
Per week: 36 Hours?
Requirements:
EMR: EPIC required.
Vaccination Requirements:
• Flu vaccine required
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions.
Clinical Requirements:
• Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to RI)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred (confirm if unit requires)
• Minimum 1–2 years recent NICU experience (Level II/III, confirm which applies to this unit)
• Vent/high-acuity neonate experience preferred
Responsibilities:
• ?Providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants.
• Caring for the basic needs of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers.
• Using and adjusting specialized medical equipment.
• Formulating nursing plans and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments.
• Comforting ill newborns and anxious parents and family members.
• Offering support to parents and family members and educating them on the at-home care of their newborn.
