Psychologist Opportunities – Brain Injury & Spinal Cord Injury Programs

Join Craig Hospital's nationally recognized Psychology team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals recovering from brain injury and spinal cord injury. We are seeking compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered psychologists to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs.

This evergreen posting is being used to fill multiple full-time Psychologist opportunities across our inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates may be considered for one or more of the following positions:

Available Opportunities

Outpatient Psychologist

Full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Provide psychological assessment, counseling, and support services to individuals with brain injury (BI) and spinal cord injury (SCI) in the outpatient setting.

Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Psychologist

Full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Provide psychological services to patients participating in Craig Hospital's inpatient SCI rehabilitation program as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Inpatient Brain Injury (BI) Psychologist

Full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Support patients and families through the inpatient brain injury rehabilitation journey, providing assessment, intervention, education, and consultation within a collaborative care environment.

Location: 3425 S Clarkson St, Englewood, CO 80113

Compensation: $36.93/ hour — $53.18/hour

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registrations: Board Certification (Diplomate)through the American Board of Professional Psychology in Rehabilitation Psychology, Health Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Clinical Psychology preferable.
Education: Completion of Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in psychology; completion of academic course work in psychological assessment; completion of specialty training in rehabilitation psychology and/or neuropsychology through supervised placements, internships and/or fellowships.
Experience: Completion of at least one year post-doctoral training in psychology; additional experience in rehabilitation preferred. Neuropsychological experience is a plus, but not required. Interest in biofeedback is a plus.
Skills & Abilities: Skilled in the ability to conceptualize and pragmatically apply rehabilitation psychology treatment plans, in coordination with multidisciplinary team members. Ability to determine time, place, and sequence of operations or action to be taken on the basis of analysis of data; executing determinations and/or reporting on events. Skilled in dealing with individuals in terms of their total personality in order to advise, counsel, and/or guide them with regard to problems that may be resolved by clinical or other professional principles.

Essential Functions:

Provide individual and group psychotherapy.
Provide family education and counseling.
Consult with physicians and other staff members to develop psychological and behavioral treatment approaches for individuals with neurological problems.
Perform psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for individuals with neurological problems based on referral questions, extent of injury, medical and psychological history, and clinical presentation.
Conceptualize psychological and behavioral interventions for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and adapts the plan of treatment as needed.
Consult with and provides support to the interdisciplinary team regarding effective team functioning, collaborative goal-setting, and conflict resolution.
