Registered Nurse (RN)
Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dependable, professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Oncology department.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Take all nurse inbound calls to triage the patient and schedule the patient’s appointment.
- Help with work quality reports and schedule accordingly
- Complete all refills
- Escort patients to the exam room and documents chief complaints
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record
- Assist physicians and/or nurse practitioners by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients of the practice.
- Greet patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion
- Respond in a timely manner and keep patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations.
- Assist physician/nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures.
Qualifications:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Current RN licensure in Missouri or another state participating in the nurse licensure compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS is preferred.
- Annual influenza vaccines are required.
