Aivato is an AI-driven engineering platform for electrical distribution systems (EDS), built on decades of real-world experience in wiring harness development, E/E architecture, and system integration for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Aivato does not replace existing engineering tools—it enhances them. Acting as an AI layer on top of established systems, it extends engineering capabilities while keeping real-world engineering expertise at its core.
Formerly known as Voitas, the company has developed practical, production-proven software to connect KBL, VEC, and CAD data, automate comparison and validation workflows, and significantly reduce manual engineering effort.
These capabilities evolved into a robust core engine now used in live engineering programs. With Aivato, this foundation is scaled into a platform that enables AI-driven interaction with engineering data, automated validation and system analysis, and seamless CAD-connected automation.
As we continue to grow in the U.S. market, we are looking for an energetic and highly personable Sales Development Assistant to help us build relationships with prospective customers and keep our sales pipeline moving.
About the role
This is a communication-focused sales position.
You do not need to be an electrical engineer or have previous wiring harness experience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable speaking with people, enjoys building relationships, and is confident picking up the phone and starting conversations.
Your primary goal will be simple:
Connect with potential customers, generate interest, schedule qualified meetings, and consistently follow up with prospects.
You will work closely with our management and technical team. We will provide the technical knowledge and product support—you bring the communication skills, persistence, organization, and sales mindset.
What you'll do
- Make outbound cold calls to prospective B2B customers
- Introduce aivato and communicate our value proposition clearly and professionally
- Identify the appropriate contacts and decision-makers within target companies
- Generate interest and schedule meetings for the aivato sales and management team
- Follow up with prospects after initial conversations, emails, meetings, demonstrations, and events
- Maintain regular contact with potential customers so opportunities do not go cold
- Build professional relationships with prospects and existing customers
- Assist with customer care and ongoing customer communication
- Support lead qualification and sales pipeline development
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, follow-ups, and next steps in our CRM
- Coordinate meeting schedules and follow-up activities
- Re-engage older leads and prospects
- Assist with outreach following conferences, trade shows, LinkedIn interactions, and marketing campaigns
- Provide feedback to the team about common customer questions, objections, and market reactions
Qualifications
We care more about your ability to communicate and connect with people than your technical background.
The ideal candidate is:
- Friendly, confident, and professional on the phone
- Comfortable making cold calls
- Naturally conversational and able to build rapport quickly
- Clear and polished in spoken and written English
- Persistent without being overly aggressive
- Comfortable following up multiple times with a potential customer
- Organized and disciplined about tracking conversations and next steps
- Comfortable communicating with managers, engineers, executives, and purchasing teams
- Able to learn a technology product well enough to confidently introduce it to prospective customers
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with a growing company
- Positive, dependable, and results-oriented
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is helpful:
- Inside sales
- Sales development / SDR
- Business development
- Appointment setting
- B2B cold calling
- Customer service
- Lead generation
- CRM-based sales
- Technology or SaaS sales
Automotive, engineering, wiring harness, or electrical industry experience is NOT required.
We can teach you our product and industry. Strong communication and sales instincts are more important.
What Success Looks Like
This position will be measured primarily on your ability to create and maintain sales opportunities.
Key success metrics may include:
- Qualified outbound conversations
- Meetings booked with prospective customers
- Prospect-to-meeting conversion rate
- Follow-up completion
