Certified Pharmacy Technician II Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician provides exceptional care of patients by assisting the Pharmacist in the safe, accurate and timely dispensing of medications and the maintenance of pharmacy inventory.
- Qualifications:
- Education:
- Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- Must achieve and maintain USP-797 approved Sterile Compounding Certification
- Job Knowledge
- Strong multi-tasking, basic computer skills, good customer service and communication skills needed.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet customer needs.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations to perform accurate dosing
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
