Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical expert with 6+ years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O development, architecture, and implementation. You will play a key role in designing and delivering complex customizations, integrations, and enhancements while mentoring junior team members and establishing technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support customizations in D365 F&O using X++ and the extensibility framework
- Lead technical solution design workshops and provide architecture recommendations to stakeholders
- Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
- Develop robust integrations using OData, Data Management Framework (DMF), Custom Services, Business Events, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and REST APIs
- Design and develop SSRS reports, Electronic Reporting (ER) solutions, Power BI integrations, workflows, and batch processes
- Perform code reviews, performance optimization, and technical governance activities to ensure quality standards
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and production deployments
- Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders
- Mentor junior developers and establish development best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions for production support scenarios
Mandatory Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and/or Dynamics AX development
- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle D365 F&O implementation
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple support and enhancement projects
- Strong expertise in architecture, development, integrations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Technical Skills Required
- Core Development: Strong hands-on experience with X++, Visual Studio, .NET, SQL Server, and SSRS
- D365 F&O Platform: Deep understanding of D365 F&O architecture, extensibility framework, security framework, and application lifecycle management (ALM)
- Integration Technologies: Proficiency with OData, DMF, Custom Services, Business Events, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and REST APIs
- Reporting & Automation: Experience with Electronic Reporting (ER), SSRS, Power BI integrations, and Workflow framework
- DevOps & Version Control: Strong experience with Azure DevOps, source control, build pipelines, and release management
- Azure Services: Knowledge of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts
- Lifecycle Management: Strong knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS), Environment Monitoring, Telemetry, and Production Support
- SysOperation Framework: Experience with SysOperation framework and batch processing
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications (MB-500, MB-920, or equivalent)
- Experience with Dual-write, Dataverse, and Power Platform integrations
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics integrations
- Experience with Retail/Commerce, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance, or Manufacturing modules
- Experience in global implementations and multi-company environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices
- Experience contributing to solution estimations, presales activities, and RFP responses

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
