The Project Manager oversees all aspects of construction, industrial and municipal projects. Applicant must have strong communication skills with prior management and construction experience or be a recent engineering graduate. Candidate will oversee organization, administration, and coordination of elements involved in the construction of a project. Applicant must possess leadership and computer skills with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel and an ability to oversee and manage field operations and crews, as well as have the organizational skills to set accurate timelines and tracking for all active projects, while preparing scheduling for upcoming work.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison betweenCustomerand Operations involved in the execution of a project
- Manage all cost tracking and revenue reporting/forecasting for theproject
- Schedule Prepare/Tie-In withcontractorschedules
- Pre-planning andresource forecasting and inventory management
- Work withmanagement for all major equipment/supply purchases
- Attendconstructionplanningmeetings andproject/sitewalks
- Assistinqualitycontrol andsafety of allprojects
- Providejobsiteassistanceto manage field operations
- Complete projects on schedule, within the allotted budget, andin accordance withQAQC standards
- Review all required reporting/collection of time and daily report logs (Fromoperations/superintendents)
- Review/Approve/Submitall vendor and customer invoices, checking items, project info, dates, rates, etc.
Qualifications
- Engineering degreepreferred or equivalent experience
- Experience managing CIPP,ManholeCoatings and other types of trenchless rehabilitation constructionrequired
- Ability to travel for both long and short-term projects
Skills & Competencies
- Extremely safety conscious and serve as an example to crew members
- Organized, detailed oriented andpossessexcellent time management and Microsoft Office skills with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Salary Range
- $85,000 to 110,000, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
