Material Handler – Conway, SC
$16-$17 an hour
7:00am - 4:00pm Mon-Fri
We are seeking a Material Handler to support daily production by safely moving, receiving, organizing, and tracking inventory throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Responsibilities:
- Safely move inventory using mobile equipment and forklifts.
- Deliver materials and components to production areas.
- Prepare finished goods for transfers and shipments.
- Receive and organize incoming materials.
- Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and maintain accurate labeling.
- Track inventory using an ERP/WMS system and barcoding equipment.
- Identify and properly handle scrap materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Research and report inventory shortages.
- Assist with training and other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous inventory control experience preferred.
- ERP system experience required; Sage experience is a plus.
- Forklift certification/experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift/move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
Compensation details: 16-17 Hourly Wage
