JOB TITLE: Rehabilitation Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Rehabilitation Services (Inpatient & Outpatient)
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Rehabilitation Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, while continuing to deliver direct patient care, including care coordination, care planning, patient evaluation, and implementation of quality therapy services. This role serves as the first level of formal people leadership for the rehabilitation team, holding accountability for team performance objectives and results, coaching and developing staff, and supporting department plans that advance the organization's mission, vision, and values. The role also carries accountability for day-to-day operational and revenue-integrity functions, including documentation and billing defensibility, referral and denial tracking, and consistent patient engagement follow-up, across both settings. Performs duties in a manner that promotes the rehab and multidisciplinary team concept and reflects the facility's mission and values.
Note on Clinical Caseload: This role's clinical caseload is transitional. Until the department's approved 0.8 FTE SLP hire is onboarded and clinically ramped, the Rehabilitation Supervisor will continue to carry a primarily clinical treating caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings, consistent with current volume, in addition to the supervisory and operational responsibilities outlined below. Once the 0.8 FTE hire is fully ramped and absorbing routine clinical volume, caseload will shift to a limited caseload of complex cases, consistent with an approximate 80% administrative / 20% treating allocation of time.

Build Trust: We exhibit integrity, transparency and compassion in every interaction.
Obsess Over Excellence: We have high standards and seek continuous improvement.
Lead Innovation: We lead with creativity, agility and think bold in our approach.
