Registered Nurse- PerioperativeThe Pre-Post Operative Surgery Registered Nurse provides care for patients before and after surgery/invasive procedures, while providing a therapeutic environment. The Pre-Post Registered Nurse prepares the patient who will undergo surgery/invasive procedures via skilled assessment, teaching and collaboration with the perioperative team for their return to the community at large.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Current AHA CPR/AED for the healthcare professional required.
- Current AHA ACLS required.
- One-year ICU/PACU experience in an acute hospital nursing setting.
- BSN preferred
- Solid experience with PACU patients for surgery and/or GI procedures preferred.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computerized-based documentation experience required.
Pay: $45.00-$74.19/hr
