Compensation: $22.00-$28.00
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Position Summary
The Licensed Registered Nurse provides and coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
Essential Functions
- Implements the plan of care within the concepts of the Licensed Registered Nurse curriculum, with consideration for safety in practice, according to established prioritization of needs; documenting and communicating nursing interventions and responses of patient(s) to care.
- Evaluates patient(s) responses to nursing care rendered; documents and communicates evaluation data to appropriate health care team members; contributes to the modification of the nursing plan of care based on ongoing evaluation.
- Assesses patient(s) by direct observation and data collection. Records and reports objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner. Reports the patient(s) condition and or change in condition as well as signs and symptoms that deviate from normal health status.
- Develops individualized patient care plan.
- Collaborates with team members by sharing relevant information, demonstrating initiative and supporting team decisions and the work life of the department.
- RN may delegate nursing activities to other professional nurses or licensed practical nurses.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; Associates in Nursing; Bachelors preferred;
- Current IL State RN licensure and CPR Certification
- Team and customer service skills
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience is highly desired
- Computer skills - windows and database systems
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, EKG monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, airway and ventilator management as required per department.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Position Purpose: Provides and maintains reprocessing, decontamination, disinfecting, packaging, sterilization and distribution.
Essential Functions (list in order of importance including measures)
- Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to established policies and procedures to prevent cross contamination. 20%
- Cleans and operates all mechanical equipment in Central Supply Department according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Ultra Sonic, Washer Decontamination, Attest incubator, steam and gas sterilizers). 10%
- Performs biological and chemical monitoring in accordance with quality assurance standards. Maintains accurate records of biological sterilization monitors, Bowie Dick Test Pack and load number records for steam and gas. 20%
- Select items from case cart pick tickets for surgical cases, cover, and stage according to surgical scheduled time and transport to surgery. Distributes supplies and equipment to units in a timely fashion. 10%
- Performs manual issue/transfer and order supplies through Material Management System. 10%
- Removes outdated supplies from distribution area and reprocess or dispose. Ensures Par level systems are inventoried and replenished when necessary. Maintain inventory control through proper labeling, storage and inspection of packaging. Maintains an adequate supply of sterile packs and clean equipment. 10%
- Document daily the number of trays, loads and processed biological spores performed in each sterilizer. Initiate all recall procedures when process biological attest failed sterilization process. 10%

- Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment within the department.
- Ability to multitask when needed.
- Ability to identify gas items from steam items.
- Knowledge of biological and chemical indicators.
- Ability to utilize computer systems to charge patient chargeable items.
