COORDINATOR, INDUSTRIAL MEDICINEPosition Summary: Maintain current processes from all occupational medicine function to ensure company and patient satisfaction. Ability to train staff on policies & procedures for PVHMC/PVHC incorporating OSHA standards and Occupational Medicine regulations. Performs physical exams, drug screens, and other components of pre-placement, annual, and bi-annual exams regularly to maintain certification compliance. Secondary responsibility is to ensure that all Back Office staff completes their job duties regarding occupational medicine in accordance with Pomona Valley Health Center standards of performance policies and procedures. Actively participates in general staff and management meetings. Represent Occupational Medicine department at meetings as indicated.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. BLS, Medical Assistant with phlebotomy. One (1) year experience in Industrial Health Care Services with foundational knowledge of industrial relations. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, medical equipment operation and good documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Drug Screen Certificate; Breath Alcohol Testing Certificate; Audiometric Study; Pulmonary FunctionTesting (PFT) Certificate. Strong computer skills with Access database; Electronic Health Record computer skills.
Salary range: $26.65 - $37.51 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
