We are actively seeking an automatic press operator for the Stamping Department. Set up, operate, or tend automatic press machine used to shape metal material to meet product specifications.
Essential Job Functions
- Set up and operate, transfer or blanking presses
- Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
- Visually measure and inspect completed parts to specifications
- Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to standard operating procedures
- Report defects and operating difficulties to supervisor
- Perform basic trouble shooting, problem solving, and make minor adjustments
- Clean automatic press machines
- Complete paperwork on inspections and operations
- Follow standard work instructions
- Perform other duties assigned
