Position Overview:
The Home Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients, managing home delivery route lists, and providing client oversight.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver home delivered meals to homebound clients in assigned area
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle per Driver Policy handbook
- Report to designated locations on time
- Maintain accurate daily route list
- Maintain bi-weekly time sheet
- Attend monthly Staff and Drivers’ meetings
- Update clients’ route list information as needed, referring any problems or changes in participants to supervisor daily
- Follow EOEA sanitation guidelines for home delivered and congregate meals served
- Report any temperature or sanitation concerns with supervisor
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Neat and clean appearance and dress for weather conditions
- Must work well with elderly clients
- Capable of learning delivery routes
- Capable of training other employees on routes
- Capable of handling emergencies per program protocols
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all clients
- Must have valid Driver’s license and legally licensed for 3 years
- Acceptable background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time

Compensation:
A salary within the range of $20.43 to $27.64 per hour will be provided to the successful candidate having met the minimum requirements for the position consistent with the MOC compensation philosophy. The candidate’s exact placement will be determined based on factors consistent with MOC’s compensation framework. MOC offers a competitive benefits package including:
