Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology at Westchester Medical Center, a major tertiary care and teaching hospital located in Valhalla, New York and affiliated with New York Medical College, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Radiologist to join our expanding academic radiology faculty.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing academic radiology department and support pediatric imaging at the region's only acute care children's hospital. The position is designed for a pediatric radiologist who values clinical excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, resident education, and a thoughtfully structured day-shift schedule that supports professional sustainability.
The position is a day-shift role from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with hybrid work available based on clinical needs. Responsibilities include interpretation of pediatric radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging examinations, with case mix tailored to the candidate's training and departmental needs.
Faculty will be part of a collaborative academic community with opportunities to teach and supervise residents and medical students, participate in interdisciplinary pediatric conferences, support pediatric clinical programs, and contribute to quality improvement, protocol development, imaging workflow initiatives, and clinical innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret pediatric radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging examinations.
- Support pediatric emergency, inpatient, outpatient, surgical, oncology, neurology, and subspecialty clinical services through timely reporting and consultation.
- Teach and supervise radiology residents and medical students in pediatric imaging.
- Participate in pediatric interdisciplinary conferences, protocol development, quality improvement, and clinical program-building.
- Collaborate with departmental and hospital leadership to support high-quality pediatric imaging across the WMCHealth network.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Qualified applicants must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree; be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology; have completed fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or equivalent training; and be eligible for a New York State medical license.
The successful candidate will join an established faculty practice at WMCHealth with academic appointment at New York Medical College commensurate with experience and qualifications. This employed position provides comprehensive benefits, CME support, and malpractice coverage.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $500,000 - $600,000, commensurate with training, experience, academic rank, clinical scope, and final role structure. The position is eligible for a productivity-based bonus. Additional voluntary compensation opportunities may exist for faculty who wish to read extra cases or cover extra shifts, subject to departmental needs, approval, and final role structure. These additional opportunities are not mandatory.
