JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Supervises RNs, LPNs, NAs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees; responsible to the Clinical Director.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
A. Professional
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- Current NRP or obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- ACLS if applicable
- Professional certification preferred.
B. Personal
- Maintains good physical and emotional well-being.
- Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Evidence of knowledge and ability to use proper channels of communication
- Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
