Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within two years
Minimum Work Experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Texas RN license
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (required before completion of orientation)
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Compile, analyze, and present reports
- Develop, review, and revise applicable policies, procedures, and job guides
- Compose letters/memoranda
- Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, perform loop closure
- Develop office procedures
- Interview for all department subordinate positions
- Proven written and editing skills
- Research information/data; incorporate evidence-based practice
- Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis
- Strong leadership skills and growth potential
- Adjunct patient care on unit as needed
