The Clinical Resource Supervisor (CRS) plays a key leadership role in advancing patient care quality, staff development, and operational excellence across shifts. Working closely with the Administrative Director, this dynamic position provides real-time support to hospital teams, ensuring optimal patient flow, effective staffing, and a consistent high standard of care. The CRS strengthens engagement through visible leadership, rounding on staff and patients, mentoring nurses at the bedside, and supporting a superior patient experience.

Five years of Emergency nursing experience.
-
Teaching experience preferred.

Leadership experience required.

Experience with electronic medical record and clinical documentation systems required.

BSN required
-
MSN preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

Knowledge of software applications (Outlook, Microsoft) required.

Maintain professionalism and act as role model.

Demonstrates leadership and communicates a strong work ethic and commitment toward service excellence.

Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates effectively with patients, family members, physicians, senior leadership and staff.

Well organized and able to prioritize a variety of complex assignments simultaneously. Meets deadlines in a timely manner.

Demonstrates understanding of local, state and federal regulating agencies (DCF, DPH, TJC).

Demonstrates dependability and transparency.

Documented effectiveness in confronting problems and resolving conflict.

Strong clinical knowledge, mentoring skills, and the ability to influence and inspire others.

Proven problem-solving and communication skills in fast-paced environments.

Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends and occasional nights.
