Description
A Sr. Field Service Technician is responsible for providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. This individual must be able to apply mechanical knowledge to build and install water treatment systems according to engineering specifications and design.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in site installation of AV filtration systems, GAC/media services, ductile iron pipe, stainless steel pipe site layout and planning Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine filtration installs, and pipe design installCollaborate with Operations to plan future filtration builds and support related needs.Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and protocols in hazardous work environments.Maintain job detail updates within the ERP system Regularly communicate and report progress updates to managementAbility to work under limited supervisionDemonstrates a strong commitment to the company’s social and environmental mission by promoting sustainable practices, fostering an inclusive work environment, and consistently prioritizing health and safety in all aspects of their role.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with customer service is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of very demanding customers.
Education and Experience:
Candidates must have experience with 2- to 16-inch pipe fitting, rigging and crane operations, mechanical systems, and basic plumbing. Experience in water treatment, filtration, and media systems is a plus. A CDL, 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, and Hazmat-endorsed TSA chemical transport certification are preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform light to heavy physical activity in inclement weather at times. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
Required Skills/Abilities:
