Position Overview
The Permanency Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of adoption and permanency services across designated FCCP sites, while providing supervisory and administrative support to the Permanency Program Manager. This role involves working directly with both children and adults to support successful permanency outcomes.
The supervisor ensures compliance with state regulations and agency policies, supports staff development, and oversees key program functions such as Family Finding services, recruitment of adoptive families, and case documentation. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to best practices in adoption and permanency services.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of adoption and permanency services across designated FCCP sites.
- Provide supervisory and administrative support to the Permanency Program Manager.
- Ensure compliance with state adoption regulations, agency policies, and best practice guidelines.
- Supervise staff and provide training, guidance, and performance support as needed.
- Manage and oversee Family Finding services, including training staff and ensuring proper documentation.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to build a pool of adoptive and resource families.
- Participate in the assessment, orientation, and training of prospective families.
- Serve as a liaison and advocate with community partners, referral sources, and internal teams.
- Conduct outreach and marketing efforts to promote adoption and permanency services.
- Monitor case documentation, reports, and statistical data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handle inquiries from prospective families and ensure timely follow-up.
- Assist with SWAN invoicing and review/proofread permanency-related documentation.
- Attend required trainings, conferences, and state meetings to stay current on regulations and best practices.
- Support quality assurance efforts and maintain tracking systems for program compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a human services field.
- Adoption experience preferred.
- Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
- Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
- Must be 21 years of age.
