Ellis Medicine is seeking a Per Diem Hospitalists to join our established and highly collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical management for hospitalized adult patients
- Perform admissions, daily patient rounds, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Respond to clinical changes and medical emergencies as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
- Promote high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active New York State Medical License
- Active DEA Registration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality inpatient care
Compensation & Benefits
- $150/hour for weekday shifts
- $160/hour for weekend shifts
- Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program
