Most early-career roles hand you one lane. The Interra Trainee Program hands you the whole map. In 12 months, you'll touch every corner of international food distribution — from compliance and risk to logistics and sales — building a foundation that most people spend a decade acquiring.
What You'll Actually Do
This isn't a coffee-and-shadowing program. From day one, you're in the mix:
- Own the logistics for your assigned region — freight, timelines, problem-solving included
- Build and manage relationships with global carriers, suppliers, and service providers
- Negotiate rates, resolve issues, and keep shipments moving on time and on budget
- Partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Compliance on real customer accounts
- Analyze data, spot inefficiencies, and propose improvements that actually get implemented
What You'll Walk Away With
By the end of 12 months, you'll have hands-on fluency in international trade compliance, end-to-end logistics and fulfillment, risk management in global supply chains, commercial negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

Who We're Looking For
You don't need to know everything about global trade — that's what we're here for. You do need:
- A bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of experience in logistics, sales, or customer service
- The drive to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Sharp communication skills and an instinct for building relationships
- Attention to detail that borders on obsessive — details matter in global trade
- Curiosity about how the world moves goods across borders
- Additional language skills are a strong plus
