Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff (Wednesday-Saturday 11pm-9am) assist residents in developing parenting skills and completing daily tasks, while always maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality. The Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the program during overnight hours, including completing hourly bed checks and monitoring the residence for any concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with prior related work or volunteer experience. Or, an Associate’ s degree with three prior years of experience working with adolescents in a similar environment.Current CPR and First Aid training certification. Experience with de-escalation skills.Demonstrated ability to work with a varied and occasionally challenging client population. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Good computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and good driving record.Ability to lift, push and pull up to 10 pounds without assistance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual, bicultural, Spanish speaking ability preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide overnight supervision and support to Young Parent families residing in the program.Conduct and document hourly bed checks; maintain detailed and accurate log notes. Transport Young Parents to appointments and other local destinations in line with program policies, particularly those related to Service Plan related tasks. Support Young Parents in developing skills for daily living and parenting through instruction and guidance. Uphold and enforce program rules and policies while modeling respectful, appropriate behavior.Administer and monitor the Medical Management Program as instructed by the Program RN. Ensure the safety and well-being of all Young Parent families by adhering to program procedures and promptly reporting any issues to the Program Director or designee.Maintain professional boundaries and apply de-escalation techniques as necessary; consistently follow safety protocols. Participate in household chores to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment. Attend and actively participate in monthly staff meetings, biweekly supervision sessions, and complete a minimum of 24 hours of job-related training annually.Participate in all required agency and division-wide meetings and trainings.

The base pay range reflects what Catholic Charities reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation in this range may be determined based on other factors, including but not limited to work experience, education and specialty training.
