Position Overview
The Card Services Specialist supports the credit union’s debit and credit card programs with a primary focus on fraud monitoring, member outreach, and daily card operations. This role works closely with members to verify transactions, resolve fraud alerts, and ensure card requests and documentation are processed accurately and timely. The position may also provide cross-training and support for additional card services, including assisting members with Visa credit lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and respond to Falcon fraud alerts
- Contact members to verify card transactions and resolve suspicious activity
- Process and verify daily card orders within the core processing system
- Pull and review New Cards Reports daily
- Maintain and update the Corporate Visa Log
- Assist with management of the card loyalty rewards platform
- Monitor and maintain card stock inventory for all branch locations
- Scan and index card requests and fraud documentation to member accounts
- Provide backup support for other card services functions as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in credit union card services, frontline, or call center operations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and member-focused
