The Director of School Culture is an instructional and strategic leader who works to create and enhance a culture of achievement and respect where high expectations and results are the norm. Our Directors of School Culture are responsible for demonstrating significant and measurable gains, each year, with all scholars.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with school leadership team to create and manage a safe and welcoming learning environment with a culture of achievement and respectDesign and implement systematic approach to managing and intervening on scholar issues based on the School Culture, Scholar/Family Handbook, and Restorative JusticeCoordinate positive programs for scholars during and after-schoolResearch and implement new school culture initiatives to further develop the school cultureBuild a culture of achievement and respect with families, scholars and school/ network staffModel professionalism at all timesProvide coaching and professional development on classroom management, classroom culture and Restorative JusticeTrack and report behavioral data to monitor the social-emotional development of scholarsAnalyze behavioral data to guide and support the creation of interventions through the Response to Intervention processAssist leadership team with staff and scholar recruitment, as well as staff hiring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreeTeaching experience with proven track record of raising scholar achievement scoresProven success in turning best practices into outstanding academic resultsCounseling
Compensation details: 50000-62000 Yearly Salary
