PRW Power, Inc. is relocating to a new state-of-the-art facility in Moreno Valley, California, and we're growing our team. As a leader in high-performance automotive components, we are expanding our carburetor manufacturing and calibration operations and are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join us. The successful candidate will have experience with carburetor operation, assembly, disassembly, calibration, and engine testing. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in product quality, innovation, and the continued growth of our company. Since this is a brand-new facility, the right candidate will get the unique opportunity to help design the department layout and set up their own assembly bench and workstation from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble high-performance 4-barrel carburetors according to company specifications and quality standards.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, and rebuild carburetors as required.
- Test and validate each carburetor on an engine run stand prior to shipment.
- Perform carburetor calibration, tuning, and adjustment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve assembly, performance, and quality-related issues.
- Conduct quality control inspections and maintain accurate testing documentation.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements, manufacturing efficiency, and quality enhancements.
- Assist with prototype development, new product testing, and special projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support other areas of the business based on skills, experience, and company needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong understanding of carburetor operation and fuel delivery systems.
- Experience assembling, rebuilding, and tuning 4-barrel carburetors.
- Experience operating engines and performing performance calibration.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand tools, measuring equipment, and testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred
- Experience with performance automotive engines and aftermarket performance products.
- Dyno or engine test stand experience.
- Familiarity with Holley-style & Q-Jet carburetors and performance tuning techniques.
- Automotive technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with quality control and manufacturing processes.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a shop and engine-testing environment with exposure to noise, fuel, and automotive components.

Pay Rate: $27.00 to $30.00 HR, depending on experience.
