Responsible for the day-to-day operations and program management at St. Mary’s Community Center (SMHC) and the African American Health and Information Resource Center (AAHIRC). This responsibility includes collaborating with the director to determine the services needed, the most effective way to provide them, and the resources necessary to support them. This role reports directly to the Director of Community Centers and is part of the Mission Services Leadership team.

Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Public Health, or related field - Required

Master’s Degree in Social Services or Public Health - Preferred

5 Years related leadership experience in community and/or social services—Required

Oversees daily operations and personnel for all programming areas. Accountable for all staff planning, communications, and personnel evaluations.

Prepares annual capital, operations, and program budgets, including short-term and long-term budget planning, tracking, and reporting.

Leads monthly staff meetings, with special focus on center goals/objectives, as well as System policies, procedures, and updates.

Evaluates staff on mutually conceived goals and objectives; as well as individual accountability to the policies/procedures of the health system.
- Oversight of Facilities: Serves as liaison with SJ/C properties and with outside contracted vendors. Oversees facility maintenance needs for community centers.
- Financial responsibilities include working with Accounts Payable for invoicing and payment for services. Oversees Foundation requests and submits gifts to foundation. Assists in creation and oversight of annual budget.
- Cultivates and stewards community relationships for resources, donations, and grant opportunities.
