Coordinator, Education & BLS
The Education Coordinator position has both an instruction and an administrative component. This position is trained as an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certified instructor and is responsible for conducting all staff BLS training for the organization. The coordinator is also the CRMC AHA training site coordinator, issuing all AHA cards. Other duties include: the smooth running of all aspects of the education department class rooms – AV equipment set up, scheduling and troubleshooting; email class reminders to all staff; excellent computer knowledge and skills in all Microsoft Office applications; eLearning system management; superior customer service, communication, time management and organizational skills; willing to speak in front of large groups; has part in the onboarding of new employees.
Education: High School Diploma Required
Additional Education Requirements:
Associates Degree preferred; additional education in business, computers, library services and/or health related preferred.
Certifications: AHA Instructor Certification in BLS within 1 year of hire
