JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
  - Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing. Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of Arkansas. Must also possess a high school diploma, associates, or higher degree level.
- Qualifications/Job Responsibilities:
- Duties include, but are not limited to:
  
  Assisting physicians during clinic visits and patient examinations
  
  Answering and triaging patient phone calls
  
  Fulfilling physician verbal orders accurately and efficiently
  
  Completing and maintaining clinical paperwork and documentation
  
  Applying and removing casts and braces
  
  Preparing patients and exam rooms for in-office procedures
  
  Performing phlebotomy and collecting laboratory specimens as needed
  
  Coding diagnoses and assisting with clinical charting
  
  Providing patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
  
  Maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
  
  Assisting with other clinical duties as assigned
  
  Previous orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
  
  Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  
  Team-oriented attitude with a strong focus on patient care
  
  Experience:
  
  Previous orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Physical

  - Normal clinic environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Frequent exposure to fumes, odors and water. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching and occasional stress related to patient load.
