Lab Assistant - Physician PracticeProviding laboratory services as assigned in order to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment optimal to the clinical setting at Physician Office Lab. Performs phlebotomy, clerical duties and waived/non-waived laboratory tests for which competency checks are performed annually.
Qualifications:
Lab Assistant I – HS or GED required, phlebotomy or transcription experience preferred.
Lab Assistant II – HS or GED required and a certified phlebotomist, or AS in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
Lab Assistant III – BS required in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
