Inside Sales Coordinator - Hybrid Schedule (3 On‑Site / 2 Remote)
As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of Attalon’s Sales organization. You’ll work directly with both existing and prospective customers, making sure they get the information, support, and follow‑through they need, before and after a sale. Your day will include generating quotes, tracking approvals, managing documentation, supporting customer portal activity, and handling order‑related questions with accuracy and professionalism.
You’ll also play a major role in keeping internal teams aligned. This position collaborates closely with Sales, Program Management, Operations, Legal, Contracts, and Finance to ensure every customer interaction is smooth, timely, and well‑coordinated. Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential, as you’ll often be the person keeping tasks moving and providing updates along the way.
At its core, this role ensures that customers feel supported and confident in their experience with Attalon. You’ll help build and maintain strong relationships by delivering service that’s responsive, reliable, and solution‑focused. Occasional travel to conferences, symposiums, or trade shows may be required.

Responsibilities
• Identify, qualify, and follow up on leads that come into the business group.
• Quote generation and approval tracking.
• Process improvements/development support.
• Documentation and customer portal support.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and the Sales team.
• Receive, validate, process, and track customer’s purchase orders using company’s ERP system as well as acknowledge orders once scheduled/rescheduled.
• Provide sales order updates, issue RMA documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries and ensure high-quality, timely service in alignment with Attalon’s policies, procedures, mission, and values.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Operations, Legal, Contracts, Finance, and other internal teams to gather information and provide customer updates.
• Perform proactive, self-directed daily follow-up on assigned tasks.
• Perform additional Sales, Customer Service, or Order Management duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
• 6+ years of relevant order administration, customer service, sales operations, or inside sales experience in a technical environment.
• Experience preparing or processing quotes.
• Experience processing sales orders and RMAs.
• Experience communicating directly with customers.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills. Process driven and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills, customer-service focus, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with sense of urgency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems and standard office software.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry. Understanding of Defense business and ITAR.
• Technical background, knowledge, or experience.
