About Us
At Hopedale Medical Complex, we’re proud to serve our community with compassion and high-quality care close to home. Our imaging department plays a vital role in that mission — supporting patients from the ER, inpatient unit, and outpatient clinic with the expertise and kindness they deserve. As a small hospital, we work closely together, value teamwork, and support each other like family.
About the Role
We’re looking for a CT-certified Technologist (Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Day Shift) who takes pride in delivering high-quality CT imaging and exceptional patient care. This position is primarily responsible for CT services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
As part of a small, team-oriented department, this role also requires active participation in general radiography (X-ray) duties to support overall workflow and patient care needs. Flexibility and teamwork are essential to ensure timely, efficient service across all areas of imaging.
This position includes rotating holiday coverage and occasional weekend, evening, or call coverage as needed.
What You'll Do
Perform CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Administer IV contrast safely and effectively, monitoring patients for reactions and responding appropriately
Ensure optimal image quality through proper patient positioning, protocol selection, and equipment operation
Follow radiation safety (ALARA) principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
Support imaging needs across ER, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings
Assist with general radiography exams as needed to support workflow
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to HIPAA, contrast safety, and hospital protocols
Participate in quality improvement, equipment maintenance awareness, and department readiness
Assist in training and onboarding new staff as applicable
Stay current with continuing education and CT advancements
