Safely transport passengers to and from designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles following all traffic laws and hospital policies
- Transport and assist passengers as needed
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles
- Communicate with dispatch/security for transport requests
- Provide professional, friendly customer service
- Complete required logs and follow all safety and confidentiality policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, not required
- Valid New York State CDL driver’s license with clean record
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
